Engineers’ Day 2026

S.E.A. College of Engineering and Technology, Bengaluru, celebrated Engineers’ Day on 15 September 2026 with great enthusiasm and respect for the engineering profession. The celebration commemorated the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, one of India’s most renowned engineers, visionaries and nation builders.

The programme highlighted the significant contribution of engineers towards technological advancement, innovation, sustainable development and nation building. The event encouraged students to understand that engineering is not merely about technical knowledge but also about creativity, ethical responsibility, problem-solving and creating solutions for society.

As part of the celebration, the students participated in an Engineers’ Day Oath, pledging to uphold professional ethics, continuously enhance their technical knowledge, use engineering skills responsibly, promote innovation and contribute positively towards society and the nation. The oath inspired students to carry forward the values of dedication, integrity, excellence and service associated with the engineering profession.
