INAUGURATION OF SEACET-KSCST IPR CELL

The Intellectual Property Right (IPR) Cell was inaugurated on 09 February, 2024 at S.E.A College of Engineering & Technology, Bengaluru by Dr. U. T. Vijay, Executive Secretary, KSCST, Bengaluru, during the inauguration Ms. Vinisha Yadav-Vice President, SEA Group of Institutions. Dr. Shivanna D M, CEO (ARRKS Inovtech Pvt Ltd), Dr. Bhagavant K Deshpande –Director (Engg), Dr. Usha Desai- Dean R&D and Dr. B Venkata Narayana –Principal were present.

Principal Sri. Dr. B Venkata Narayana welcomed all the dignitaries by felicitating them with bouquet and he emphasized the benefits of Intellectual Property Rights and the importance of establishment of IPR Cell in SEACET. He congratulated Dr. Bhagavant K Deshpande –Director (Engg) and Dr. Usha Desai - Dean R&D for their efforts to establish IPR Cell at S.E.A. College of Engineering & Technology.

An MOU between SEACET and KSCST was signed and Dr. U. T. Vijay Executive Secretary, KSCST in his address described the current scenario of Intellectual Property in India. He highlighted the importance of Patents. He also appreciated institute’s efforts in establishing IPR Cell.
